Making things work.

We have an extensive capability to deliver real, working information appliances, and to assist you in the delivery of yours. We use prototyping as a core part of our innovation process, and product engineering to deliver final appliances to the market. Much of our innovation and design work is expressed through software, and we have a significant capability in that area. We also handle electronic engineering, and manage the outsourcing of mechanical design and engineering.

We have made a strategic investment in Linux as the operating system of choice for information appliances. The Appliance Studio has its own distribution – known as SignOS – which we use as the basis for our work prototyping and delivering information appliances. We work in C, C++, Java, Perl, SQL, Flash – we're comfortable with any of the core software technologies at the heart of the Internet and information appliances.

Many of our team are software or electronic engineers by background, and between us we have decades of relevant experience in the area. We can help you realise your information appliances. Read more about our capabilities in our booklet on Appliance Design and Engineering.
